In the search for a new lamp for the livingroom, and also one for the bedroom, I’ve come across a lot of beautiful and playful designs. I’d like to share some of them with you.

Mail – Componenti

This Coin Lamp requires you to insert a coin before it lights up. It will only light up whenever you insert coins, and the lamp itself has been specially set to a pre-determined time by an internal mechanism.

This lamp was created by Charles Trevelyan and was inspired by the movie Titanic.

The design is inspired by the suburb afternoons and the designer came up with these illuminated birds on a wire.

A wooden lamp made by Muuto/TAF Architects. The lamp cord is covered with green felt.

Bluelounge has come up with some great ideas for organizing theĀ  clutter of wires and cords on your desk. The items are not just smart, small and handy, they are also quite nice to look at. Very apple friendly, actually. And that’s not a bad thing. Check out the beautiful Studio Desk!
