While attending Model Design at Einar Granum Art School we had a course in making product models. We started with choosing an object that we wanted to copy, and I chose the ladyshaver. A Philiphs Satin-ice BodyTotal to exact.
I started with taking measurements and trying to understand how the ladyshaver was built. Without all the technical stuff, of course. I made the “body” as one piece and the “top” as several pieces. I chose to make the blades as a simple cylinder.
After finishing all the pieces I used a primer to make a layer I could sand down, that was to make it easier to get a nice and smooth finish with the spray paint.

After painting the pieces and polishing them for a super shiny look, I glued the pieces togheter and there it was: the Satin-ice BodyTotal!
