In 2007, while attending Einar Granum Art school, my friend and I was asked to do the scenography for a school play. Since we had just gone through a scenography course we thought it’d be fun to give it a go.
The theme for the school play was girl power and we wanted to go for a fun, cartoonish look with lots of colors. We spent days and nights on this project since there were only two of us. We had a huge screen that we painted the background on and it was quite a challenge to work in a large scale. The photos show work in progress, a few details and pictures from the rehearsal.
